The linked grill is for a D2 and wont fit a D1.

I think I'll find a grill at a junkyard and try to make one with it first before I cut up my good one.

I just did the DIY Gutter Guard Grill. I think that I could have done better but it looks good, especially with the cut down front bumper end caps.

tom - i feel like you haven't been around in ages. hey.

i dont see how you pay for a new saudi unless you have a show car. the one above looks flimsier than my ghetto grill,

i have the no-grill at the moment and my ghetto will be virtually drag free and i think it will be much better at air intake than the stock grill. cant justify it...just feel it.

danny, i can't imagine what that front end looks like. i need to see it.

if you can get a molding in between the mesh and the plastic it looks better. (pic doesn't have it yet) it'll also allow me to easily switch grill inserts when i find the ultimate one.

if you spray the mesh and the grill the same color (especially flat black it looks like a single piece and you cant tell it's plastic)

you could also go and spray your bumper, stinger, headlight surround and hood scoop and roof the same color and it would look mean.

in my opinion.
