Disco Wheel Choices
I currently have the stock wheels on my '96 Disco. "FIRE STYLE" as per my link below. Personally, I'm not a fan. I'm doing a 2" lift and some bigger tires. I dislike how sunken the wheels looks on a stock disco.
1. In the link below, are the "XS Deep Dish" not just the "Fire Style" flipped around? Sure looks like it. I know I've heard some guys reverse there wheels but don't know much about it.

2. These are 2 trucks I like the stance of. Can anyone confirm the wheels on either?

1. No those are not just the "Fire" wheels flipped, that is a different style. Check local parts yards, and craigslist for a set. Or check here --->http://www.roverlandparts.com/discov...eels-rims.aspx

The blue truck looks like factory deep dish wheels with maybe a spacer behind them.
The red looks like the aftermarket wheels Atlantic British used to offer, but they look similar to what Lucky8 sells now.

Perfect Thanks guys.. Yea I figured the blue truck were the Deep Dish wheels. Just looked to gave a better offset so the spacer might make sense.
What is the deal with flipping the "Fire Style" wheels around? I've heard about it but haven't actually seen what it looks like. Are they a two piece and guys are just re-welding the center after flipping it?
Also, on an unrelated note. The more D1's I look at I'm pretty sure I bought the only truck in existence with grey interior and no sunroofs.

Im not sure about flipping the fire style wheels but I have my steel wheels flipped. I cant say I recomend it but it can be done. The big problem with flipping them is the lug nuts dont seat correctly and work loose.
Danny thats a Rockstar fab bumper, I just put one on mine its definatly a nice heavy duty bumper.

I think I read that you are running a Terafirma 2" with 265/75/16. Is that correct?
Thanks for chiming in.
not knocking anyone's wheels, of course, but the deep dish was used on the 97 Camel Trophy, and there might have been some issues with failures.

I have the wheels on the blue rover. CRAP. I have pin holes all over on the inside of the wheels. I have successfully sealed them with liquid nails, but otherwise junk. It almost seems like Rover tried to skimp on material to make them lighter for export, either that or they just suck at making wheels. What size tires are those? Looks like these trucks need to trim back the fenders a bit.
