Default engine issues when cold after sitting a while...

Been trying to nail this one down for a bit but time to ask for help

On occasion after sitting a few days or even more rare over night, i've had issues with accelleration (misses perhaps?)...

Some accelleration in low rpm, but if I get over 2k rpm it will backfire even after the engine has come up to temp. This usually resolves itself fairly quickly then everything is back to normal (for a rover anyway)...

No codes are ever thrown, but it is frustrating.

I replaced the plugs & wires (8mm magnacore) when I started working on the truck a bit over a year ago.

I see it about once a week on average, current temps are 20-40's I don't recall it happening during the summer/fall

well can I be any more vague? ... just looking for suggestions on things to look for

Sounds fuel related. I'm sure someone with more Disco experience will chime in...

First thing in morning , cold engine all temps senders should be ambient till you start engine

TPS is usually around 11.8 to 12.3 should be a steady #
