Default Front Hub Swivel Joint seal replacement?

Have you performed this corrective maintenance? Do you have a step by step plan? Any suggestions? Do I need any special tools?

Default Rave on kiddo!

I am going to guess based on the very good questions you have been asking that you are not yet in posession of the complete workshop manual with step by step proceedures and a full listing of specialty tools you will need for each of those jobs. This set of reference manuals is a must have if you plan to perform service work on your truck...

The link is below my name in my signature line. Once you go to the landroverresource site you will need to click on the LARGE file (590Mb) and download the entire thing. It contains the workshopmanuals, electrical troubleshooting manuals and the owners book.

Study it and learn how to use it and you will have just about any question answered. It is called RAVE and is referenced constantly by most everyone here.

Right; I do have the Rave download. It is not that specific or clear. Also does not get indepth with certain subjects. I did not see anywhere in the manual to perform this specific task. If you find it please reference the page and paragraph for me.

Chapter 54 "FRONT AXLE AND FINAL DRIVE"

Where are you leaking? The hub or the swivel ball?

even more to the point what files are you referencing?

in the PDF folder...
in the lj folder...
then open the wmlj970e.pdf file

Section 54's first few pages are all about fault diagnosis then the repair sections.

The swivel ball. I have found the tech info on the Rave fiinally. It does show diagrams and some info on how to fix the problem. I should be alright with this now. Thanks
