Fuel line integrity test
I am just finishing up a HG job on my 98 disco.
Things have gone quite well thanks to the many great posts here.
What I was wondering is if I can test the fuel line integrity under pressure before I install the ram air housing and plenum?
Any problem turning the ignition on to get the fuel pump running to pressurize at this point?
I'd rather find leaks, if any, now rather than tear things apart again.
Any recommended sealers between the manifold/ram housing - ram housing/plenum ?
A tech where I had the heads done recommended an "Anaerobic" gasket maker/sealant, or stick to the "Hylomar" as the RAVE recommends?

the anaerobic sealer will give you a much longer working time before it sets up (it never really drys hard anyway) but either are ok.
IMHO as long as you've got everything mostly hooked up, testing for any leaks would be fine
