Fun with windows
So while my truck is waiting for parts I thought it would be "fun" to fix some things on it. I bought it with the rear windows not working... the P.O. said it was due to the motors being burnt out. I figured chances of both being burnt were pretty slim so did some checking and found some threads about re-soldering the window ecu. (for the record I couldn't for the life of me get the bolts out that hold the front of the ecu box on so i just unbolted everything i could see that held the part your glove-box hinges onto and pulled really hard to get the clearance for the board).
So anyway did all that and got it back together only to find one window was working in the rear (still pretty stoked, never soldered a circuit board before). Took the other door apart and found the switch unplugged, plugged it it and woosh... window down and wont go back up, motor works tho! So i believe the culprit is the little guy in the photo below. It is a little plastic washer type thing that fits into the frame in the bottom of the window guide. Not sure what happened to the other half of it.

I would like to know if anyone knows where I can find a replacement? or what the part is called?.... so when I call around tomorrow I sound a little less stupid.
The end.
sorry about the novel guys

That is the roller for the window regulator, you cannot buy just the roller.
You can, but they are $30 each, Google it, they are brass and will never break ever again.
You can fab a roller, AntiChrist did it with a screw and some washers.

DO you have a link or a pic of what you used?
Thanks for all the help guys, I am wondering too what the solutions mentioned above actually looked like? The only solutions I can think of would involve drilling a hole through the spindle that moves the roller, please see my third grade level artistic rendering of what I think they are describing above:

Please do post a picture or diagram of some sort. As you can tell from the drawing above I'm not too bright,
but I can follow instructions!

Looking at the site that spike mentions above they say "Instructions detailing how to install and re-use the old pivot pin are included with purchase, or can be purchased separately". Can anyone fill me in on the little secret?
