Default headliner ?

Hi guys - does anyone know if 60'' wide headliner material is wide enough? I've talked myself into tackling this job this weekend and could pick up this material on the way home from work, just not sure if what my local trim shop has will work. The LR D1 is at my inlaws in the garge so I dont have access to measure the headliner until tonight. Hoping to get an early start so if anyone knows I'd be grateful for the info. Thanks

I did mine with materials from headliner express. They ship 65" material and I know I cut off a bit from the sides and did wrap over the edge a bit, but I think you are going to be a little short with 60". IIRC, the 'official' width is 62" but I suspect you'd still have problems getting over the edges in some spots.

Thanks for the confirmation Walt! Do you happen to remember how much material it took to complete the job (length)?

Sorry, memory doesn't serve me that well.

Hey bush pilot, let me/us know what you go with. I plan on doing the same thing. BTW I fly a king air 100 and 350 pt135 with a couple hundred hours in a 90 as pt91.

D1 needs to be a minimum of 64" and I'm not sure what you'd need length wise. Just tape measure it. I did mine. If you don't get the foam backed stretchy stuff and use a steamer you're in for a miserable ****ing time. If you're using straight up fabric if recommend not doing it. Doubt you want to hear that but it's a huge pain in the ***.

Do you know of anyone who has had positive results by spraying it?

Take a look at how I did it, you won't find a cheaper or easier way. https://landroverforums.com/forum/sh...t=22938&page=2

Spray on bedliner. Its not perfect but my headliner was far from it before so I'm very pleased with the results
