Maybe an H1 with a 6.5. The Heep has been a fun project, not a frustrating one. Could the Hawkeye adjust the idle speed?

No drama is a good thing! The older I get the more low tech I want. I'll take a two stroke engine and call it a day! LOL

The Hawkeye was a beast. Still not sure if it could adjust the idle speed. I was surprised as I thought adjusting the idle speed was more of a hardware thing and not so much of tweaks from a computer brain.

Well I wasn't gonna put this out there but here it goes. You can turn the pintle by hand in and out, in your case out which i believe is ccw. Mark it on top and count how many turns, always stopping with your mark facing up. Since your only 200 off try two turns out at a time and see where that lands the idle.

I'll give it a try, thanks!
