Default How much lift...

How much lift would you put on a Disco I for everyday driving and hitting the logging roads every other weekend?

2 to 3"s, using an OME lift with HD OME shocks.

I am doing the 2" Terra Firma lift. Only $600 and includes springs.

I sure hope so, otherwise it wouldn't be a lift.

SA I am referring to the kits that have spacers for your spring perches.

Why even consider the spacers, if you really need lift go with the best springs you can afford. RN often has some in their discount bin. Salvage yards may have some deals on a set from a wrecked or junked Disco.

If you got the bucks OME are great.

I would rather have a few really good things than a whole lotta cheap ones.

How many times are you going to replace springs? Do It Once With the Best You Can Find. I bought a pair of rear OME's from a friend who bought them new, changed vehicles and had this left over. If you look hard enough you can find something wothwhile.

It really depends on what size tires you're going to run.
