I love the look of my rack on the rover and like all the looks I get driving it around but I'm not sure how much I'll really use it. There's enough space inside for all my camping/wheeling gear and my friends have their own 4wd they drive. Also, it catches A LOT of low hanging limbs and adds weight to the top. I'm thinking about taking it off and just using it when I need to carry lots of gear.

 

I do not use mine that often but it is a huge PIA to put it on/take it off and with all the looks and "wows" I get from little kids it really worth leaving it on all the time for me.
It only weighs 50 lbs so weight is not a issue.

 

are you sure they only weigh 50 lbs? mine is steel tubing not aluminum.

 

Mine is the Brownchurch and it def weighs alot. I prefer to leave it on, just 2 big a pita to remove and put back on. Although it is coming off this winter to sandblast and por 15 it.

 

Well considering that the air inside the tubing weighs almost nothing...yes, around 50 lbs.
I can carry it by myself and I ain't that strong.

 

well yeah I know its not solid inside It just looks like it would weigh more than 50 lbs....spike you just don't know your own strength from lifting those heavy packages all day long

 

Yeah, I get winded carrying a iPod to a front door so I know my own strength lol.

Ive never had anything in my rack or plan on it besides some lights......Im too short I cant reach it and I'm too cheap to get a ladder for the back. But it looks cool thats all that matters lol
