Default Lift kit for sale to make my tires fit?

Lift kit for sale? I have been given 4 new tires. 265 75 16. I am afraid they may rub so I will need a lift maybe 1 inch or 2. The tires are about 31.5 inches. Do I need a lift or will they fit?

Yeah 2 in lift, camel cut and I think steering stop adjustments. There was a website that shows what size tires fit with which modifications. I'll try to find it for you.

Lift has no effect on max tire size fitment, unless your suspension never articulates. When wheels hit the bump stops all that matters is cutting or larger stops.

From what I read 235/85/16 and 265/75/16 are the best tire sizes to get. They need 2 in lifts and camel cuts and steering stop adjustments from what I read. Idk, I haven't messed with any of that just yet (I will soon though).

They won't be as long as you get a lift, from about 2 or 3 forums I've been looking at many people say those look best with a 2" lifted disco.

Actually no sorry, I read that all wrong. Just send me those tires and go find some new ones okay

Haha. I'll send them right away. Can you point me to a very affordable lift kit. 2 inch is as high as I'll go. I'm ready to get this ball rolling. I just got a brand new paint job. The thing is looking amazing. I'm ready to have a tank. Thank you to everyone. Also body kit vs suspension pro and cons

Undergroundrovers

look under the Terrafirma tab and get the Heavy Duty kit, cheapest you will find them and they are good. Or find OME HD kit.

Eric,
Not sure where you got your information, especially when it pertains to a D1, but a lift is required for any tire size overt a 245 on a D1 or D2 if you plan on going off road or over speed bumps and dips when on the road.
Most D1's have dropped at least 1.5" in height since new and with the smaller wheels they have over a D2, lifts are a must for for fitment as well as ride.

Sorry Eric but this is not true...

This about what happens when a truck is lift axle relative to body. When a tire stuffs into the wheel wells generally it does not go straight up it goes up and curves into the wheel well (see my avatar for example of what I mean) because the axle is at an angle. You can easily fit a 35" tire into a d1 wheel well as long as you trim the outer fender. If you're just trying to fit a 32" you wont need extended bumps because the tires are no big enough to rub on the inner upper fender well. You will just need to trim the rear quarter panel because the wheel/tire also moves backwards in the rear or forwards in the front when stuffing..

Make sense?

Call Justin at Lucky 8 he will get you set up with what you need. I have had good experience with Terrafirma springs and shocks and have installed many of their kits. Quality stuff for a good price.
