Question Lug nut size

Ive bought some new wheels for the disco and the old stock lug nuts are too big for the wheels so im looking a rockauto for lug nuts and the size they gave me is a 7/16-20, hex size 3/4, length 1 1/4. I was wondering if this will fit? thanks

Nope, won't fit.
D1 are metric, can't remember the size off hand.
How are the OE lugnuts too big?

Would it be better to do the acorn style or do the nut style from the hardware store?

Get the lugnuts from the people who sold you the wheels. If they sell some oddball wheel that takes special lugnuts, surely they sell them.
If not, I'd return the wheels and get a wheels from someone reputable.

Alloy wheels use the larger stainless steel cap lug nuts.

For steel wheels you need these... Lug Nuts - For Steel Wheels - Metric (6738 Same Fit As Part # 90577473/NTC739) - Land Rover wheel accessories from Atlantic British

If they are steel wheels then the alloy lug nuts would work, just wouldn't look very good.
