There you have it, all you have to do is weld two back ends of discos together.

Looks photoshopped...

There is a distinct horizontal line running virtical accross down the middle of the fenders. The reflection on the fenders looked "smeared" where as they look like a dinsticnt replection on the car. The license plates look as if they are from two different states (could be antique plate vs trailer plate...). Ans whats up with the guy under the hood? Looks like someone took a midget and stuffed his head and torso in the radiator...

Yeah the only cool looking way of making a Disco trailer I think would be to have something similar the red Disco trailer in the photo, but some how adding another rear tailgate door to the front. Hey, two spare tires!, plus one on top! It would be interesting but probably really hard to do.

I would rather just get something like this...

A lot less fuss, a lot less redneck, and probably a lot less money.

Where do you figure 13k? Are you buying 2?

A base trailer is $7200 list.

2 donors will set you back at least a grand. I have rareley seen a donor go for less thatn $800. Conservativley speaking, $1500

You need to fabricate a towing chassis...
Steel, paing, hitch, chains, welding consumables... $2200 conservative

Body work...
Welding aliminum, if you have the equipment, consumables will be a few hundred. $300 conservative. Sheet steel and aluminum $800, Prep and Paint $1800 easy.

Interior work...
Headliner material, fiberglass, resin, glue, adhesive, paint,
$500

Not to mention the hours upn hours of planning amd labor that goes into it. If you calue your time you can double your cost here.

To make a trailer out of a disco must be done for the love of doing it.... But for $100 more, I would just rather go buy one.

$7200 for a NEW trailer. The newest D1 is 13 years old, so you'd basically be constructing a 13yo trailer. How much do you think a 13yo Sankey or adventure trailer would go for?

That red Disco trailer looks like a "caravan" some gypsy or dirty hippy would live out of.

That red disco trailer would be sweet if it had seats in it that I could strap my kids in so I didn't have to hear "are we there yet" 75million times on the way to moab. Better make it 3 seats. Wife's gotta go too sometimes.
