first off this is a guide to how I did my grill, so if you attempt to do this do at your own risk, please don't do a crappy job and tell everyone that it was tweak rover's design. If you are not good at tedious tasks this is not the mod for you. cutting the plastic is extremly difficult to do and you can screw up your grill pretty quick if you are not careful. I assume that anyone attemting this has a general knowledge of painting and glueing and some good old fasion common sense...so.....
get some gutter gaurd for $2 at lowes or home depot

I painted mine (make sure to get your cool bike in the background)

remove your grill and carfully pry out the lr badge
Attachment 47003
use masking tape to mark out your hole

carefully cut it out with an angle grinder with a cutoff wheel, use a dremel with a small cutoff wheel to round your corners
Attachment 47004
scuff the inside area around your hole with sand paper so the epoxy can grip the plastic
line up and tape your mesh to the back side of the grill
Attachment 47005
use epoxy to glue the mesh to the grill, making sure its tight to the grill
Attachment 47006
center your badge where you want it and tape it down, flip the grill and epoxy the back of the badge to the mesh
Attachment 47007
there you have it

Update: after a few days I noticed that some of the spots of epoxy had let loose, after I removed the grill to see what was up I found that the epoxy had held fine but the paint on the grill had peeled of letting the mesh pop free. So when you epoxy your mesh make sure that the mesh is immersed in the epoxy so it wraps around it holding it firmly. What can I say its my first time doing this.

I like the stock grill too but the saudi is a factory grill also, I just can't leave well enough alone. plus you get the benefit of more airflow.

great job my man... looks clean and does the job.

on a side note, how did you get permission to do all that epoxy work on the dining room table?

Awesome job! I am thinking about doing that to mine and keeping it as a back-up or selling it.
