misfire!
My engine has a misfire. I've compared the plugs all of the plugs are clean accept cylinder one. it was covered in Oil and black sh*t. I switched around the plugs to see if this will solve any of the problem. I havn't really gone further but i got a used injector only now i don't think it is the injector, i thin it might be the coil.
Does anybody know anything about the coils. i noticed that one coil fires two cylinders should my other cylinder not fire too??? or can it mis fire just one cylinder?

It could be the coil.
I had a Oldsmobile that ate coils for lunch, but only one cylinder ever went bad.
In 120,000 miles I replaced that coil 4 times.
The spark plugs on a DI spark on every up stroke, so every compression stroke and every exhaust stroke they spark.

I run Champion Copper plugs (like 80 cents apiece). That is LR OEM. I know others run lots of stuff and if you search you will find a ton of different opinions. I am having lots of success with these though so why pay more and switch? I could be wrong but I believe Spike also runs Champion Coppers or did at one time. The trick is making sure your gap is correct before installing them. Don't assume they are correct. None of mine were. I gapped them all before install. And make sure you have a good set of new wires (Magnacore or TPI) 8mm. They work better than the 7mm.
I recommend using el' cheapo plugs to help diagnois a stubborn mis fire problem.
I use Iridium's, Autolite this time around, Denso last time.
These trucks are picky, one plug will work great for 5 people but not for the 6th.
A bad/weak plug wire will cause that plug to foul.
If the swapped plug fouls then you could swap to plug wires and see if the fouling follows the wire.
If so then new wires are in order, if not then its a bad coil.
This is all assuming that you dont have a leaky injector or valve guide.

thanks. Yeah i moved the plug around a bit but i haven't had time to look at it. I'm going surfing tomorrow so won't loook at it till night or after work. But im leaning towards plugs and wires.
