Well, you just answered another question I had, Looks like the replacement dash and door panels I got for mine came out of an LSE.

 

Yes, that is the real deal. I am sure they were available in more than one color, but the Gold was probably the preferred one.

ive seen one exactly like this rolling around town. absolutely beat looking though... windows held up with duct tape, things falling off... but it has the chrome bumpers.
neat to know that it was an actual special edition.
