Default My $400 Disco

So this truck had been sitting in my gfs cousins yard for about 2 years when I they told me if I could get it running it was mine for $500. I had absolutely NO experience with rovers before but hell, it was a pretty cool and i couldn't pass up the chance. Truck had 130k on the clock. It turned over but didn't fire. After some investigating determined it was the fuel pump. Couple days later with a new fuel pump and a fresh fluid change she was running like a champ again and they knocked $100 bucks off the price since I had to buy parts. I have had it about 8 months now and I am slowly getting some stuff done to her and absolutely love it.

The day I brought her home.

Looks good. Some people are scared to death to work on these trucks

interesting, d2 flares. is the arch opening bigger on the d2 flares than the d1 fenders. I ask cause the d2s always look higher than the d1s when you put a 2" lift( to me anyway). I was thinking it had something to do with the fender flares.

You made out like a bandit. You should send them a fruit basket or something nice.

Where are you located?

I want you to park it immediately, they are really unsafe and not at all reliable.

I will come take it off your hands and give you $800 for it, no questions asked.

Please save yourself from future despair.

hahaha, yeah it was a killer deal. had a few minor things to work out but its been overall a really good truck. i had to cut about an inch out of the fenders for the d2 flares
