Default My Kingdom for a Model # (auxiliary fan)

Hi everyone,

My auxiliary fan motors are both shot. Removed the motor from one of the two fans and hooked it directly to the battery and got nothing (batteries not dead). I was able to get a model number for the bearing of the motor, but can’t find anything on the actual motor itself. I scoured through the posts looking for any indication of the motor brand, model number, any identifier and haven’t been able to find anything.

Anyone have any insight?

Default Solved

I found this in the tech section for the D1s. Thank you discomedic4!

“For those of you on here with a DI having the same problem as me (bad fan motors) I thought I would post this in a new thread so everyone has a chance to see it. NAPA was unable to get the part but AutoZone can. The part number for the motor only is PM9115. It is actually for a 1993 Toyota Corolla but is the exact same Denso pancake motor our beloved discos use. You will need your plug from the old motor though as the plug is different. If you do not have an AutoZone near by just ask for the same thing for the above listed vehicle. Happy shopping and enjoy the cold air!”

Those look like great options too. Might be too late for you, but I found them for $23 on rockauto if anyone else is looking.

I normally get the 93-96 Toyota Corolla bare efan motors for like 5.00 each at a salvage yard. I remove the efan motor from the Toyota assembly as all I need is the efan motor itself.
