As I recall Land Rover Dealer quoted me over $600 for one, and they take the old one in exchange for repair.
Look for a used one either on e-bay or some of the commonly used people on here. Will Tillery, at roverguy.com may have them, don't realy know if he does much electrical, he does have good prices on mechanical stuff. I bought exhuast manifold from him cheap and quick service.
There are a few others that do used parts. Also check local salvage yards.
