just got a bluetooth ob2 reader from amazon (ordered the ultraguage, but won't be in until monday or tuesday)...

2 questions at moment...

where is the ob2 port? i looked where fuses are underneath steering column - do i need to remove that foam to get to it?

red light at ignition switch? i switched batteries so i am changing batteries out anyway and now there is a red light at ignition switch (where u put key in)... never seen that before...

I believe OBD2 is under the passenger seat.
The red light where the ignition is would be NORMAL. Not sure why you never noticed that before!!

 

quick...drivers side way up in the right. don't have the foam anymore but i think yes you do have to pull it away.

 

On a DI, it should be immediately to the left of the center console, pointing toward the seat. Beneath the bolster. Above accelerator pedal.

edit-if you're the same Robert Browning who abandoned the DII here, I'm sorry you fell on such hard times, but my wife drives the truck every day-your lawyer is kinda slimy though, he shouldn't threaten people.
