Poor mpg and O2 sensors

The oil doesn't smell and I've done two oil changes (with the larger oil filter) as well as dropped the pan and cleaned it out. I haven't lost a drop of coolant (I marked a line) in over six months.
I lost my compression tester in the move so I'll grab one of those next and see what's what.
I did just drop from 29 to 25 over a couple hours of having the fuel pressure gauge connected but there was no immediate drop off (indicating a bad injector).
I may order a new FPR as well as a fuel pump just because I don't know if they were replaced when the engine build was done.
Bottom end is original - 172k miles.

The oil would more than likely smell like fuel with a leaking injector and sometimes you get a misfire code for that cylinder. Not a bad idea to replace or have them ultrasonic'd in the future though. Mine had inlet screens which trapped the fuel line/rail rust. That could cause a lean condition as could the fuel pumps pickup screen. The sediment in mine had it nearly occluded and it was hard as a rock. The intake manifold bolts are a good cause for intake leaks, barely cinched down per spec. Must use a thread locker to keep them from loosening up.
