Default Question about Bosch +4

What is the usual life of Bosch Platinum +4? I drove 40000km in the last year and a half and there is barely any electrode left.

That's what I thought in the first place. I noticed my truck was idling slightly rough when cold. The best way to know for sure would be to change them, but I'm back to school for the next three years and budget is tighter than it used to be. I might have to change for cheaper plugs. What about Champion Platinum power?

you should be able to run fine on the stock champion plugs. Some people on the D1's say they have experienced misfires with any of the plat plugs. i say save your money and go back to the champions.

I've been running plain jane Autolites with no issues.
Just buy whatever is cheapest. This is a place spending more isn't worth the gain (which is not changing them as often), IMO.

Nice I'll go out and buy cheap champion plugs. Remember guys that I love in Quebec and stuff costs almost double here. If I remember well a set of Bosch +4 costs 80$, a gallon of Castrol Syntec or Mobil 1 40$ etc....

Speaking about oil... I was thinking about switching from Castrol Syntec 10w30 to Rotella T for diesel 15w40. What do you guys think? I can buy 5 gallons of rotella for 60$

I run the Rotella and it keeps everything nice and sparkly clean. Spike runs the Rotella too. He is the one that got me sipping the Rotella Kool-Aid lol.
