radio help needed

Default radio help needed

Just got a radio from Tull but doesnt seem to be taking code. I want to make sure i'm doing right. can some one tell me the proper steps maybe I'm doing wrong

Leave it for an hour w/ the key in position 1, then try again. You have three tries

punch in the code that's it. If you try to many times it will then require a reset, this can only be done by leaving the unit powered on for about an hour, don't press any buttons during that time and don't try to start the truck. I would suggest using a battery charger if you have to do that.

after an hour do I turn truck or radio then retry or do I just retry

turn the truck on and leave it on for an hour with the radio turned on.. Then try to punch in the code.
