Removing a body lift?

Default Removing a body lift?

My d1 came with a coil spacer lift and a body lift and i am looking to remove it all, but I am having trouble finding the stock body mounts and bolts and i have read up and what is need to install a body lift and the problems with them and it seems this truck was only halfway done so im wondering where i can get all the stock pieces to remove the lift?

As far as the coil spacers all you will need is 3/8 grade 8 bolts about 1" long plus washers x2 for each corner. As far as the body lift I cant help you there other than take a bolt out and match up threads and just remove spacers and use shorter bolts.

are they bolted straight to the frame or is there bushings i need to get?

I'd say there are bushings about 3/4 to 1 inch thick.

The body is going to sit on bushings (should be one bushing on top of frame mount and one below the frame mount) The springs will sit directly on the flange on the axle.

and I should be able to get the bushings at any parts stores that carry land rover parts?

The rover parts houses will have the rubber bushings.
I might be interested in the body lift kit after you remove it.
