Was wondering if anyone has put a SAFC on a rover?

Why? Doing some forced induction? Should be as easy as any other early EFI OBD1 motor.

Yes i am adding a small turbo. I only plan on making around 5-6 psi of boost. I have rebuilt the motor and it was built a bit tighter than stock. I would like to do a SAFC or similar so i have complete control. I DO NOT WANT TO DO THE OLD EXTRA INJECTOR IN THE INTAKE TRICK LOL. I also have a built 97 eclipse gsx turbo so i am familiar with setting up a turbo motor.

thanks for any insight

Sounds like a cool project. I don't have any other insight except maybe look into the callaway supercharged range rovers and see how they did it. Those motors were a bit newer though (computer controlled ignition, coil on pack.. not a distributer and coil like the 94/95 Disco and RRC)

yeah that looks good but im going with a turbo not a supercharger.......not that rich lol. Im going to be doing a turbo setup similar to what they run on corvettes. Turbo will be mounted somewhere between y pipe and muffler. Since i am running so far back i will not have to worry about intercooler and piping.
