Congrats on the rover, I have a 95 disco with the same non functioning front sunroof, and my passenger side door can only be opened from the inside...I'm not sure if the Disco's are the same way as the P38's, but my dad had a problem with his door not opening from the inside. Turned out it was a bad clip that failed.

I've got a 2in life on my truck and i hardly notice the difference....
