Default So long to Land Rover, hello to....

I recently sold my Rover and purchased a FJ Cruiser. My decision was based on longevity, dependability and affordability. I'm not a serious off roader like most on the forum but do play around in mud and dirt from time to time. The Toyota 4.0 liter V6 has really great reviews and share the same platform as the 4runner. So far I'm pretty impressed with the power, handling and MPG. I'm averaging 17 city and 23 highway.

now GTFO of here and join the fj forum. I used to be a member. I like them LOVE THE white ones [TRD] and the blue look pretty nice

People have build these up VERY nicely, however to me there just too big, and the blind spot is too bad.

they copied the hood from the disco.

I wish toyota made the nissan xterra it would be near perfect

The blind spots are a bother but that sort of quirkiness appeals to me. I wasn't even aware of the three windshield wipers until a day after ownership.
Blind spots, three wipers, color matched interior panels, old school compass, got to love it!

Quirkyness they definitely got. Hope you enjoy it , much better milage, what do those cost?

I could never throw down what they sell for and I also hear the bodies will crack really bad if you do stress them much.

Iwould like to try out those MB's myself.

FJs hold there value extremely well. 2007 models start at $18,000 and higher.
I found mine at a dealer listed on the internet for $16,900. I couldn't get him to budge one penny. The dealer would only negotiate on my trade in value. So I end up after trade in paying $3,900 .

Funny you mention that this weekend I saw a old lady (60's) driving a FJ with big BFGs and the hood blacked out and I was like that black out is just like a Disco Blackout. LOL
