Default Stock Steering Damper and Wheeling

IT SUCKS.....I went wheeling the other day...and bent the stock damper and steering rod baaaaad.... If it wasnt where the stock damper mount is...i wouldnt have had to get new steering rods (o well Terrafirma HD rods here we come)

If you wheel where there is rocks....RELOCATE YOUR STEERING DAMPER MOD...at least

Ordered TF rods and steering damper from underground rovers...they had it in stock..never ordered anything from them..but cheap shipping $15 bucks compared to $30+ other places and a bit better pricing..not bad...still waiting on treadwright to ship my tires

Yea, i've got some TF arms coming in as well. For under $200 getting new components WITH 4 tie rod ends, you can't beat it.

How bad did you bend the steering rod? Was driving it home an issue with the toe-out? Pics??

Driving with a messed up drag link isn't a big deal, not so with the track rod.
It takes a very little amount for the track rod to be out of spec to ruin a set of tires on tarmac.

yep it sucks..but mostly it was my damper that was bent and seized up so the steering would track turns like crazy...gives you the false impression of the death wobble.....
