Stuck shifter
My 1997 Disco shifter is stuck is there is there an easy way to get it unstuck I bypass a sensor one time but I’m just making sure.

pop the wood grain off the top of the shifter. You should see an 'e' clip and often that degrades or move out of place.

also check brake lights... if the brake lights are out (switch) it won't shift out of park.
