Default Sun roof Disco 1

I been on this slowly, from designing some unbtanium parts, so I can
3d print them. Which I didn't know anything about, that part is done finally, ready for assembly and testing and the final material desicion.
Now the question is about the actual control box, I have two and three motors. I found a bunch of cold solder joints, corrected. Now the issue is that the motor starts to spin no real control, with either box, switches swapped or disconnected, the motor just goes. If I click on the switch, then it stops but won't comeback on. Until I switch the ignition off/on again. I'm starring at a online copy of the 1995 electrical section, never had the joy of checking it out.
Any ideas were to go next,.
Thanks

No is an explanation, of an issue trying to give some context. But your contribution was so useful.
Lack of comprehension, maybe.

The sunroof motors have cam actuated switches on the drive gear and are timed.
Do you have a copy of the elec. troubleshooting manual or just a electrical schematic?

There are two things on this planet that should have been eradicated a long time ago, mosquitos and the D1 sunroof. Why anyone would waste time on the latter is beyond me.

Can't deny the logic with that statement.

I did find a service copy online, definitely new to the land Rover game.

I love the sunroofs. I am a fool for cruising with both open on a sunny day.

All/most manuals (RAVE) can be found in the google drive in my signature.

I managed to get the drains blown out, seals cleaned, contact points on glass cleaned, and closed them manually (allen wrench). Did that in the spring and it's has been sitting outside since. No leaks. Might fix someday. Very low on the list.

Troubleshooting manual is handy.
