Hello guys....

I am trying to restore the original functionalities of my 94 Disco 1. I have done a lot of electrical repairs and some other repairs all by my self. I was trying to fix the sunroof rails but my fix did not work.

I have been searching for the sunroof rails and found them at an expensive price. Also found complete sunroof assemblies but the shipping kills me because I live outside US and have to pay courier to deliver the full assemblies to my country, plus taxes.

I am Electronig Engineer and if anyone needs help with electrical troubleshooting in Discos 1 from 94 to 96, I can help remotely explaining via email the meaning of the diagrams and the way the troubleshooting must be done. If my help was usefull, then I would like to receive one or several sunroof rails, proportional to the value of my help. If my help did not solve the problem, there would be no compromise to send me any part. Parts should be sent to Miami via USPS. I will pay for the shipping to my country.

The parts I need are the complete sunroof rails (front and rear). Like these:

Some of the electrical jobs I have done are:
Replace my Alternator with a Bosch from Jetta VR6.
Fix stuck transfer lever (mecanically and electrically).
Repair Shift/Park solenoid.
Repair Air Conditioning (Electrical problem).
Repair Cruise control.
Repair warning/indicator lamps
Repair coil wiring.
Troubleshoot and replace fuel pump.
Some others.

What country are they needing to be shipped to?

the price of each assembly is about $ 375... Have to buy 2... plus shipping, handling to Guatemala, and taxes... I would have a 700 bucks assembly..... total $ 1400.00
The price of the complete truck is about 2,000 dollars, then, I would have to pay for the sunroofs more than half the price of the truck... That's why I do not want to buy the complete assemblies.

In the case of the rails, the weight is a lot less because if I can get each part, then I would not need to pay for the shipping of the glass and the bin. That's why I am looking only for the rails.
