Nice work ColoDisco!
Jared check out this kit - Lucky8 Llc. - Take the road less traveled... Call Justin he will give you good advise for tires and lift. I am guessing he has 235/85/16r's

I bought the springs and shocks separate as I could not find a kit with this option on any of the sites. I went AB as they had HD front and rear TF springs and listed the +2" big bore TF shocks. I also purchased the steering damper and the extended stainless brake lines.
Total came to about $900 but I had the rear springs sent before the rest as they were the only pair AB had left. You could probably shave off $40 if you shipped it all together.
I really like lucky 8 but found their catalog too cumbersome to use.

Good deal glad to see you got the bug. My truck would be no where near how built it is today without Justin at L8. He's a good guy who cares about helping you with your build. He has the best prices, only sells quality product, and can get you almost anything you're looking for. If he doesnt have it on hand he'll get it from the UK. Granted I have probably paid about a quarter of his mortgage

ColoDisco, How do you like the fit of those tires with the lift? I just ordered the medium duty TerraFirma 2" lift kit and I am debating between 245/75s and 235/85s once I have it installed.
Sorry to revive a somewhat old (1 month) thread, but you are in my city (well...my metropolitan area), have the same generation truck, and the same size lift so it seemed like a good idea at the time.

I heard that D2's have bigger wheel wells than D1's (no idea if that is true), but I am still surprised you can fit 33x11.50's (converted to american measurements...because that is how I roll) with just a 3" lift. If I fit 32x9.25's with minimal trimming and 2" of lift I will be happy.
