Two electrical questions
1. Why does this happen when I use my turn signal? It appears all the bulbs check out. (video here because I couldn't upload)
EDIT: when I activate left or right turn signal, the trailer light pops up once and then both directional signals on the instrument cluster flash. However, the exterior turn signals function properly as best I can tell.
2. My dome lights work when turned to ON but absolutely no lights turn on when I open the door and the switches are set to DOOR. All fuses appear intact (though I can't guarantee the big ones in the engine fuse box because I don't know what a blown one looks like). What gives?

These kind of issues can be difficult to get to the bottom of. Stalk switch is possible, maybe try to get some electrical contact cleaner into it. I think it’s going to be a weak connection somewhere, either ground or positive.
Yes, the trailer indicator lights once every time the turn signal is activated, by design. There is only one directional indicator on my trucks, right in the middle.
The overhead switch for the interior lights seems a bit flakey on my trucks. Try jiggling it when a door is open. There is a timer that fades the lights out several seconds (~30?) after the doors are closed. I suppose that could fail open?

If both stalks are loose there is a screw/wedge thingy on the switch assembly. Need to remove the steering wheel to get to it. You can see it in section 57 - Steering - pg. 555 in the RAVE.
Front interior light switch has three positions, on (forward), center, off (rear). When in center position, courtesy light should come on when any door is open. If in rear/off position, they'll never come on. The center position routs the door switches to the MFU and some electrical hocus-pocus ensues. You can test the MFU with the engine off.
From the electrical troubleshooting manual (they spell energized funny
):Multi–Function Unit (MFU)
The multi–function unit (MFU) is mounted on the
rear of the passenger compartment fusebox and has
an input to operation of the following:
• Heated rear screen
• Heated front screen
• Courtesy lights
• Side and headlights
• Rear fog guard lamps
• Headlamp power wash
• Front wipers
• Rear wash/wipe
Diagnostic Procedure
1. Close all doors and the tailgate.
NOTE: If the oil pressure switch goes open circuit
(engine is started) during the following procedure,
the MFU will exit the diagnostic mode immediately.
2. Press and hold the heated rear screen switch
and switch on the ignition.
3. Release the heated rear screen switch within 2
seconds and the MFU will beep to indicate that it’s in
diagnostic mode 1.
4. Press the heated rear screen switch; the MFU
will beep twice. In turn, operate each of the following
switches, heated front screen, rear fog guard lamps,
side lights, headlights, front wiper and rear wiper.
The MFU will beep twice each time a switch is operated.
5. Pressing the heated rear screen again will cause
the MFU to enter diagnostic mode 2.
6. The MFU will provide outputs to the following in
order given below:
• Heated rear screen relay energised for 2 seconds
• Heated front screen energised for 2 seconds
• Courtesy lights energised for 2 seconds
• Dim dip relay energised for 2 seconds
• Rear fog guard lamp energised for 2 seconds
• Headlamp power wash energised for half a second
• Front wiper energised for half a second
• Rear wipe/wash energised for half a second
7. The MFU will then exit the diagnostic mode.

So BOTH arrows should light up every time I use the stalk, whether turning left or right? That seems like a Hazard indicator. But that's not what is happening. Outside the vehicle, the correct side is lighting up. Inside, the indicator shows both arrows.

Mine work just like you described. Even though there are two arrows, there is only one light on the dash. I am not sure what indicators show when I activate hazard lights because I never had to use them yet. Maybe you're over thinking....
