I find that a 1/4" drive 12pt 8mm deep socket works the best.

I walked into Sears, hanging on the wall, under $4, 8mm 12 point 1/4" drive deep well.

I couldn't find a 1/4 drive either. I just used the 3/8 drive (from Lowes) and only hand-tightened them. No leaks yet! ;-)

Drove to Sears, didn't have it. Drove to Lowes down the street, found the 3/8's 8mm deep socket.
