Hi all,

I'm soon replacing the automatic transmission in my dads 95' Discovery 1 300TDI after it failed and was wondering what else I should replace while it's apart. I.e. stuff like rear main seal etc.. Anyone got any suggestions or recommendations? I will be putting in a used transmission of working but otherwise unknown condition.

maybe the transfer case could be resealed - check the front and rear drive shafts - put a new transmission speed sensor in - new breather hoses on the transmission and t-case
