Worth $600?
HELL YEAH!!!

So on my old route this truck sat under a pine tree for almost a year, all season tires, flat, ARB winch bumper and rusted up Warn.
A inch of pine needles covered the whole truck.
I deliver to the guys house a couple of times..."I need to put a note on his door asking if he wants to sell that Rover" I say to myself.
But just like going to the gym...I'll do it next time.
Then I get a different route, total opposite direction of this truck.
The guy who took my route is on spring break, so I say hell yeah I'll run my old route, 6 days of work, $$$.
I see the truck sitting in the parking lot of a old service station, for you young guys thats where you used to buy gas, they pumped it for you, changed your oil and did car repairs as well as had a tow truck.
So I stop, talk to the mechanic, young guy, knows nothing about LR's.
"I just bought it, put new door latches in it ($5 spring if you're in the know), I'm going to drive it for the summer I think and then sell it."
Me-"How much you thinking?"
Him-"Oh, I dont know, $600-700, it runs and drives"
Me-"I just want a parts truck for mine, heres my name and number, call me when you're ready to sell"
Talked to my wife after I got home, she rolled her eyes and said I was hopeless.
Now I just need to wait for a phone call.
Cross your fingers ladies and gentlemen!!!!
Its a '95 with 212k and auto trans and cloth seats.

Shoot, I'll pay $601! Haha sucks to have to hurry up and wait. But it'll be worth it once you have a parts truck where the bumper nearly pays for itself. By the way, what do you want for the bumper of your future parts truck?
Fk u... I'm trying to get that bumper right now.
Wana sell the bumper to me for 500$?? Before
I go back home let me know!! Tell your wife it's now only 100$ for the disco! And I'll give you my bare stock

I am thinking of swapping parts from my truck to it and then selling it.
I already offered him $200 and my old bumper and brush guard for the ARB bumper.
He said he just wants to sell the whole truck and not mess with it.
IF I get it I will see whats good on it and go from there.
Thats what I'm thinking, only problem is I dont have the cash laying around, I can get it, but I dont have it.
Bugger....how come nothing like that happens to me?
Been looking for an ARB winch bumper for my wife's '97. Don't need a heavy duty bumper but want to mount an extra winch I have. Figured an ARB would be perfect.
Maybe you'd be interested in an Warn 8274 in trade for it?
