Default 01 Disco - how much fror a new Key

01 Disco SE, only 1 key, how much does it cost for a new key, does it have a chip in it, does it have to be programmed by the dealer ?

Thanks

The remote needs to be programmed by the dealer.
If all you want is the key you can have a copy of yours made.

Just find the key blank number and then take that to the hardware store and have a copy made.
You will need to remove your key from the remote.

Yes...as long as you know what you're doing, you should be able to do this yourself if you have the right equipment. My experience has been that most hardware stores had problems doing a decent job with my Rover keys, but I found a locksmith and he produced 3 copies (he supplied the blanks) for less than $6 total.
