Default 02 sensor

Ok I got the wires disconnected however i can not get the o2 sensor off... borrowed an 02 sensor kit from advanced but there is not enough room to turn it. what am i missing here?

Which O2 sensor are you trying to get out? What year is your truck and how many miles? I found that if you until the pipe at the muffler and loosen the bolts holding the pipe to the exhaust manifold it will drop down enough to give clearance to get them out. Also soak the sensors really good with PB Blaster to help loosen them up.

Thanks I will give that a go tomorrow and let you know how it goes. Its the front two sensors for right now and the back two will follow shortly... its a 2000 with 90k on it.

I see you're in Fort Collins. Have you joined the Solihull Society yet? It's the Colorado LR club.

helps if you loosen while exhaust is hot just watch the knuckles!!!

i just changed my o2's and it supprisingly only took about 10 mins!! DI's are easier though good luck
