You, "NEVER" throw a set of spacers on a set of old Rover springs and shocks, your factory suspension is shot, spend the money. more like $600 plus, and do it right or save up and do it right other wise you will just have a top heavy Disco that will be unstable on and off the road.

the previous owner just put new factory springs on after he put 245/75/16 muds on it,i jus thought it would look a little better with 2" lift..i dont have any rubbing issues with new stock spgs..just wondering if they offer spacers for the disco ll. i only see disco l spacers.

Default spacers

I put the Todsco 2" spacers in my 2000 disco 2 and they are great. No ride difference, no handling difference no steering difference, just 2" higher. Very easy to do. I can't speak for the state of your springs though. My truck has about 90,000 miles on in.

Offroad often with them. I only put them in 2 months ago but i've been out twice since the install. They work great. Definitely need new shocks though. Putting them in next week. Maybe down the road I'll invest in some 3" coils but for now these are great.

Spacer lifts would be very scary during offroading especially when you start going sideways.

It will be Ok to put the 2" spacers on with new springs and shocks, not OK on a stock suspension if you plan on off roading, I don't care what anyone says, a factory suspension with more then 50,000 miles is shot and is only made worse when raising the center of gravity.
