Welcome! You've come to the right place for info... However like anything in life you have to give some information to get some information. You provide basically one sentence so you will most likely get very little info...

Tell us the story... Can't troubleshoot without info... Who, What, Where, When, Why.

One word guess would be front drive shaft without further info...

Stop driving it.

Absent any other info, front driveshaft was my first thought too.
And if that's the source of the noise, it's a time bomb with a very short fuse.

Thank you guys for the feed back, appreciate it alot. my bad on not providing anything in depth. . The ticking begans when instant driving it, low rpms & low speed. Never thought it was my drive shaft. .popped that on my last disco but never heard any noise last time. Good possiblity though take it in tomorrow to get the diagnostics done ,hopefully it is just the drive shaft..

Can you open the hood while it's running and try and pinpoint the source of the noise a little better, or does the vehicle have to be moving?

Sounds silly but a rock or even a bolt in a tire? I had a huge M12 or M14 button head bolt that had punctured my tire but didn't cause any air loss so I didn't find it until I couldn't take the noise anymore (this wasn't on one of my discos but still possible).

@Greens003 Drive shaft or something in the tire.

Assume driveshaft stop driving
  • Check all 4 tires
  • jack up each one and spin by hand
  • Check for rock, screws nail etc just in case
  • If you have CDL
  • drop the front drive shaft
  • engage cdl
  • Drive

Does it still tick
