Agreed, not hard, just time consuming and I cut myself on the metal a few times.


Thanks Andrew! I will do a post on the air compressor in a bit, I used the CKMA12 ARB air compressor.

wow, I can't believe that arb is so heavy that you had to use those dam* cables to hold it up. what a pita

Better than before I had them, used to have to wrap the winch cable around the roof rack!


Yes- I will be getting a new bumper.

Great looking rig. I read on your Panhard Conversion thread that you were installing Bilstein 7100s on your 3" Terrafirma lift.

How did you like the Bilstein 7100s and which ones did you get (PN or size)?

Little change on direction with that. Not really a fan of Terrafirma any longer, I went with RTE springs. I then decided after buying the 7100s, that I'd like to try the Fox shocks instead. Some info here- 2002 Chawton White - A Buildish Thread - Page 7 - Expedition Portal

You can only replace so many shocks before it gets old. I've had good luck with a few other items they make.
