Does the 2003 SE have a difflock nipple and is not hooked up? Or is it one that may or may not have one.
I can't keep all of this straight.

No early 2002 (I think might be 2001) is when they stopped putting diff lock in until 2004. 2003 definitely does not have one unless the PO added one (intentionally or otherwise)

Yes it will. I have a 99 t-case in my 02 for the CDL.

It will fit, but it is different then your harness goes. The earlier t/case, 99 thur late 01 had a lock out solenoid, to prevent shifting while the tranny is in gear, located on the top of the t/case, the 03 and 04 solenoid is located in the console. There were also a number of changes on the 03 and 04 t/case, if you want to get a CDL, either find an 04 or buy the CDL nose assembly from a 99 thru 01 and rebuild yours.

I pulled the Lock solenoid out of my DII. I was looking at an 02 but maybe I'll look at something else. I am assuming the one in the console can be removed also. I would really prefer not to have a shifter lock. I'm sure it would fail at the wrong time.

I think the ONLY 03s that have it are the Trek editions.
