Hey Zuke - call me silly but where do I find a good used motor?
I need a bottom end rebuild on my 4.6 and would really like to follow your advice.
Is there a site or reference you use to find solid used motors?

thanks
Ed

P38 engines are good candidates as Land Rover graded and picked out the better blocks for those vehicles; if you aren't sure what you're looking for then call Will Tillery with roverguy.com

This idea that better block castings went into P38 RR's and lesser block castings went into D2's is ... a wives tale.

True, probably an old wives tale...I didn't want to worry about my rebuild so I had my block sleeved by D&D Fabrications.
