I am thinking about purchasing a 2004 Disco HSE7 Navi with 63k miles.
The car was manufactured in 10/2003
I was told to watch out for 2003 Dico's because of engine issues.
I just want to make sure that since this car was manufactured in 10/03
I will be ok.

My independent Rover mechanic told me to stay away from the 2003 disco.

It's a vin range of just 2003 model years. It doesn't really concern 2004 even if built in 2003. But all the engines are crap for one reason or another.

 

My 04 engine blew up at 63k. Covered under cpo warranty. Just remember you are driving a hand grenade with the pin pulled. I still like the vehicle!
