I recently purchased a 2004 HSE and one of the previous owners has replaced the factory radio with an aftermarket. This has disabled the CD changer as well as the factory DVD system whose audio controls appear to be directed through the CD changer.


Can anyone offer me a suggestion of which radio would be the likely match for this particular year / model Discovery? I believe I've found the original radio on Ebay, but there seem to be at least two or perhaps three different model numbers that have essentially the same appearance. I assume this corresponds with the basic / mid line / high line radios that I'm seeing in the RAVE manual.


I'd also be interested if anyone has any information on factory headphone availability if the cost is at all reasonable, as those also seem to have the volume controls for the DVD system in the event that I'm unable to restore the original audio system.
