Although there are many options for lug nuts on ebay and amazon. I went with these and they have been rock solid. No loosening, etc. They will not work with the spare mount as the studs are too long. I have some open nuts for that and plan to replace those at some point. I have locks I got off amazon. I will send that link too when I find it. The roadready wheel is a 60 degree conical seat.

Well, I just received 2 of my 5 Road Ready steel wheels. Not sure why, but they're coming over the course of 3 days.
These things look really nice. Quality looks good.
Interesting thing, these actually weigh 2 pounds LESS than my LR S 16 inch wheels. They have 1400lbs stamped on them but the Road Ready site rates them at the GVWR of the Honda Odyssey which is just over 6,000lbs. Not sure what's up with that.
Now I just need to find a machine shop willing to bore out the centers for less than $50 per wheel. That's the going rate apparently but seems rather high.

If I recall I only went up 12 lbs per corner with the tire/wheel swap over the stock 18" hurricanes. That's not insignificant but I expected more with the added E tire weight. I think the stock alloy LR wheels are very heavy. The lugnuts alone weigh about 3 lbs per corner.

Those wheels are proven and common in the UK but to me they look fragile. With that open spoke design it doesn't look like much surface area to absorb and distribute energy. But they work fine I think.

I've heard they are a pain, popular options on defenders that roll through my friends shop and they hate working with them. They look good though. Until Daytona got them for his d2 I didn't realize they made them to fit the discos..

FWIW, The vendor I bought them from sells several different steel wheel options for LRs. He said these are extremely high quality. Very popular overseas among the hard cores. They’ll work fine.
