Default 95 Disco

Hello all, New member here, I'm looking at a '95 Discovery here with 125,000 miles and the 5 speed manual tranny. It seems tight and from the looks of the rest of the vehicle has never been off road. Question: Generally how many miles before one like this will need disc and or pressure plate? Also any opinions (I'm sure there are several) concerning 3.9 vs. 4.0 engine? Thanks

I have a friend that has a 96 with 216,000 miles on the original clutch. It all depends on how you drive. His truck spends many hours a month on Colorado's finest trails and is still running strong.
