The oil leak is your oil pressure sending unit. About $15 at AutoZone. You can replace it yourself. It is directly above the oil filter.
Is your red Service Engine Soon light on or the amber Check Engine light on? Makes a big difference. Things to look out for, you MUST use premium gas. With DI's you will have ABS problems. Not worth fixing in my humble opinion. When you do a tuen up you must use either Land Rover plug wires or better yet Magnecor plug wires. Not much else, do not use a K&N air filter, use premium gas. Change the fluids in everything and just enjoy it. |

They are the same service, just follow my list that has been posted on this site many times to the letter.
As for the service light, there is a relay in the passengers kick panel, orange in color with a Rover emblym on it. In the midle of the emblym is a pin hole, use a paper clip, insert it into the relay with the key in the 2nd position and short the relay. That should take care of that problem. |
