AC Condenser fan motor replacement 00-2004
Hi All,
I recently replaced my AC condenser fan with a new direct replacement motor from AC Delco. It fits perfectly.Though you do have to solder on the old plug.
If your 40 amp fuse is blown, you have never replaced it and it is is hard to spin its time for a new one. The fan should turn on when the temp reaches 195F with the AC on.
This is the link from Disco Web for all the other vehicals that use the same fan, so you can get it from a salvage yard

Here is the Amazon link to purchase it.:
If you dig around on RockAuto.com searching for the radiator fans in the Toyota Corolla section you might find a better deal, but maybe not with shipping.
I did find a used fan from a junk yard in Denver after calling around for a few hours, but it was from a 2000 Disco and they wanted to $95 for it. I thought a 20 year old fan for $95 or a new one for $95. I Probably could have found one from an 2004 eventually, but that is now 16 years old. This is a wear item that is heavily used in the summer. I also took the opportunity to clean out my radiator fins and ac condenser with Simple Green and reduced pressure power washer. I was giving a lot of dead bugs a free ride.
Here are the other vehicles with the same condenser fan motor.
CHEVROLET PRIZM (1998 - 2002)
CHEVROLET TRACKER (1999 - 2000)
HONDA ODYSSEY CARGO (1999 - 2002)

HONDA ODYSSEY LX (1999 - 2004)
