So, my daughter got her first accident. Everyone is fine. Looking at the damage, does it look repairable? I have no experience with NJ insurance thankfully, but it sounds like it is no fault and that my insurance would be responsible for my repairs. It looks to me like it it just the wing. The front door jams into the wing. The blue parts I have circle are part of the body that looks bent to me. Can I pull those out? Or, should I let insurance deal with it and if they total it, buy it back?
Anyone have a line on a passenger side wing and headlamp?
You can fix that. Junkyard fender and a little work and it will be fine. Insurance will want to total it. Let em. Buy it back, repair yourself and pocket the extra cash. My brother in law just had a crash on the same side as yours. I had a parts truck and we fixed it up just fine.
Thanks, I think I have a line on the fender and headlight locally, in the right color too. Once I have the good parts, I can get a better sense of the damage, RAVE does not exactly show where things connect.
